HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

When you measure yourself, if possible, do so in front of the mirror so you can ensure that the tape measure is horizontally positioned around your body. Hold the tape measure close against your body but don't pull it too tight.

Handy tip: Always wear the underwear you plan to wear with the garment.

BUST

Measure the fullest part of your bust ensuring the tape measure is even and horizontal at the back across your shoulder blades.

WAIST

Your waist is the smallest part of your torso - it is usually a centimetre or so above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around your waist, ensuring it is comfortable but not loose.

HIP

Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or at the top of your thighs, whichever is widest. Make sure the tape measure is even and horizontal at the back and again keep the measuring tape close to your body but don't pull it too tight.

    Stylishly comfortable

    The Indie Shirtmaker dress is both stylish and comfortable with its unique print and very unusual belt. It's versatile and, since receiving it recently, I have found several different occasions to wear it. It is an amazing frock. It can be dressed up with heels or boots or worn more casually without the belt and with flats. It could even be worn with skinny pants underneath for another look.

    It is quite long and as I'm short, unfortunately I lost some of the beautiful pattern by taking the dress up.

    I think this is my favourite piece for this season. Lovely cut and flow. I feel very special wearing this one . The colour and style is so flattering. So far have worn with sandals but when it gets cooler I will wear it with cream boots and short cream trench or the longer green trench . It is a slightly heavier weight so suited to the seasons .
