HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

When you measure yourself, if possible, do so in front of the mirror so you can ensure that the tape measure is horizontally positioned around your body. Hold the tape measure close against your body but don't pull it too tight.

BUST

Measure the fullest part of your bust ensuring the tape measure is even and horizontal at the back across your shoulder blades.

WAIST

Your waist is the smallest part of your torso - it is usually a centimetre or so above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around your waist, ensuring it is comfortable but not loose.

HIP

Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or at the top of your thighs, whichever is widest. Make sure the tape measure is even and horizontal at the back and again keep the measuring tape close to your body but don't pull it too tight.

    Timeless Classic

    This is the skirt I've been waiting for! True to size and beautifully finished, this skirt fits perfectly around the waist, has practical pockets (yay!) and somehow slenderizes my pear shape. It will not date and will be in high rotation in my wardrobe; a timeless classic!

    Stunning skirt

    This is the loveliest skirt on. The waistband is flat and comfortable with elastic and a zip. It is very long - so I have had mine professionally altered - asking the seamstress to keep the lovely wide band at the bottom. Feel very 'pretty' with this skirt on. A must buy. I am a size 10-12 - purchased a 10 and it fits perfectly

    Memory tafetta black pleated skirt

    Fabulous wardrobe staple by SD. Lovely soft fabric. Packs light and small with no creasing. I am going to wear this for work , shopping,dinner. It looks lovely paired with the matching trench. I am only 158cm small so will get this professionally taken up by the same amount as the existing double row stitching hem and ask her to replicate the look. I bought a size 12 and it fits me perfectly . I am a size 86 cm waist and 102 cm hips. So was worried the 12 would be too tight but it has enough room in the waist.

    I bought this after watching the Stacey McGregor and Henrietta styling session reel. I am going to wear this for work , shopping,dinner. It looks lovely paired with fuschia and the matching trench.     Lovely skirts

    This comes in blue and olive . Both are great basis for many outfits . Paired with blouses from this season and past ones. Also the lovely knits and trench coats . Even the tweed jackets from last year get a look in . Wasnโ€™t going to buy when I first saw tham but after trying them on I was sold !
