Whether you have back to back meetings, seeing clients on the go, or heading out to dinner after work,
these pieces will have you looking seamless and feeling fashion forward wherever the day leads you.

Empowerment through Fashion

In 1870 actress Sarah Bernhardt was the first woman to courageously don a suit in public. She defied all social norms and started a fashion revolution.

In 1910 the suit game for women took off when the first suit for women was created by Coco Chanel. These suits had always paired with skirts, and it wasn’t until 1932 that suits with pants were introduced by Marcel Rohas.

It’s safe to say that suits and the way in which women wear them has changed significantly over the years, however one thing has always remained, they have been a sign of liberation and empowerment for women.

What sets this suiting apart?

When you think about a suit you may automatically think of heavy non stretch fabrics, boxy shapes and pants that dig at the waist.

This suit has been designed to take the uncomfortable out and replace it with easy stretch fabric that moves with your body rather than against it.

The pull-on style pants mean there’s no zips or clasps that dig whilst the secure waistband sits comfortably without rolling or falling. This allows you to feel secure and confident.

The subtly shaped Jacket is feminine with a slight puff to the sleeve to invoke a striking yet feminine silhouette. When worn loose it allows for a more shapeless and relaxed fit whilst fastening the zip gives a slight peplum kick. This then
adds a feminine silhouette to a traditionally shapeless style.

Don’t be afraid to mix and match

Matching suiting isn’t just designed to be worn together and can create many adjacent outfits with your wardrobe favorites.

Keep it corporate chic by pairing these pieces back with black and white wardrobe staples which is always workplace appropriate. Adding pops of red is also a great way to project a little personality whilst keeping it sophisticated and classic.

If you’re heading to dinner after work then you might opt for a more statement blouse or top to elevate your look allowing it to transition with ease to evening attire. Simply add a statement jewellery, heels or bag and you’re instantly ready for evening events.

Perfect for on the go

Suits traditionally can be a lot of work to care for, they need dry cleaning and ironing making their maintenance that much more of a hassle and extra costs.

These suiting pieces have been designed for a busy lifestyle and can easily be thrown into the washing machine and if dried correctly, there is no need for ironing. That means less chores and more time for the important things whilst still looking impeccable, yes please!

Timeless design

As we now know, suits have been around for many years and keep evolving with us.

This means a suit will always be in season and is a good wardrobe investment.
Designed with comfort and a busy lifestyle in mind, its easy to see why this SACHA DRAKE suiting story is a must for those looking for the perfect balance of comfort and empowering style

FAQ

 Dress Styling and Fit

For work, minimal styling lets the print or cut do the talking. Block heels, a structured bag and simple jewellery are all you need. For events, add strappy heels, a statement earring and a clutch to shift the mood entirely. SACHA DRAKE's online stylists are available via chat for personalised recommendations if you want a second opinion.

The wrap silhouette works across most body shapes because the adjustable tie allows you to manipulate the dress to your body. It is particularly flattering on Hourglass and Pear shapes as it defines the waist and skims the hips.

For a formal event, keep accessories elevated with heeled sandals, a clutch and statement jewellery. For a weekend or travel setting, flat sandals and a sun hat bring the formality down without the dress losing its impact. The SACHA DRAKE maxi is designed to transition between settings, so the same dress works across multiple occasions with a simple accessory swap.

The midi sits roughly at mid-calf and works across a broader range of occasions including workwear, cocktail events and weddings. The maxi runs to the ankle or floor and leans more toward formal occasions and warm-weather events. Both silhouettes are available in wrap and structured styles across the SACHA DRAKE range, and both are categorised by body shape to help you find the most flattering option.

Every SACHA DRAKE garment is categorised by one of five body shapes: Hourglass, Column, Pear, Apple and Maternity. The brand designs specifically to flatter each shape rather than applying a single block pattern across all sizes. Wrap and reverse-wrap styles in particular are engineered to define the waist, balance proportions and move well on the body rather than just fitting around it.

Wrap and reverse-wrap midi styles are the strongest options for a pear shape. The wrap tie allows you to define the waist while the skirt skims over the hips rather than clinging. A-line midi silhouettes also work well for the same reason.
